SYNOPSIS

What was the deal this May 1st with the florks? In the days prior many citizens started using the cute cartoon known as a flork on their social media profile pictures, accompanied by a series of letters alluding to the socio-political and economic situation of the country.

These drawings showed how an image can be so provocative to totalitarian power by expressing the feelings of a generation that lives in a repressive context. We´re here to debate and exchange ideas about how this figure has become a symbol of civil disobedience.
